Google’s Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Smartphones Spotted on Geekbench: Tensor G3 and Android 14
The latest Pixel devices – the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, will be unveiled tomorrow globally and just a day ahead of its launch, the two upcoming devices have been spotted on the Geekbench database.

Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro – Geekbench Listing
On the Geekbench database, the Pixel 8 smartphone has received a single-core score of 1,563 points and a multi-core score of 4,159 points, whereas the Pixel 8 Pro device has attained a single-core score of 1,760 points and a multi-core score of 4,442 points.
Their listing also confirms that the two upcoming smartphones will arrive pre-installed with the Android 14 operating system and will have motherboards codenamed – shiba and Husky, respectively. We are already aware that the Pixel 8 series devices that will be debuting tomorrow will come equipped with the Tensor G3 chipset, and the database reveals the chipset’s core configuration.
The chipset will have a total of nine cores with a configuration of 1+4+4 cores. The primary core has a clock speed of 2.91 GHz, and the performance and efficiency cores will run at clock speeds of 2.37 GHz and 1.70 GHz, respectively.
To add, previously the third smartphone of the Pixel 8 series, the Pixel 8a, which will only be launching in a later period, was also spotted on the Geekbench database, and it featured this same chipset.
