Since the start of this year, HMD branded smartphones have been making their appearance over the internet recently the company created a buzz in the rumor mill while revealing the moniker of its HMD smartphone for India- HMD Crest. Earlier the name selected was HMD Arrow due to legal reasons the company decided to name the device as HMD Crest.
HMD Crest was said to make its debut soon in India but the launch date and other details were still a mystery. Not anymore, as it is now officially confirmed that HMD Crest Smartphones will be launching in India on 25th July 2024. HMD Crest smartphones will be made available in India exclusively via Amazon.
Amazon listing does not reveal exactly how many smartphones will be launching under the HMD Crest series, nor the monikers revealed but the microsite on HMD’s official website has confirmed that the HMD Crest series will include two devices- HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max.
If we talk about the features, Amazon’s microsite reveals that HMD Crest smartphones will be arriving with a Glass Back finish. The smartphones are said to capture perfect portraits with unmatched clarity. The upcoming smartphones are engineered in such a way that it is easy for the users to self-repair. They are said to offer super-fast and stable performance. The design of the HMD Crest smartphones is not completely revealed but looking at the few glimpses on Amazon, it is expected that the smartphones may arrive with a circular camera module and a punch hole cutout on the front for the selfie camera.
We just need to wait for one more day and then all the confirmed details regarding the design and specs of these upcoming devices will be known to us after their official launch in India.
