HMD Global recently announced its plan for four new handsets in the coming days. The company didn’t specify the handset names nor it clearly showed the phones at MWC 2024. We saw a couple of new hints coming out that include the HMD’s new partnership with Mattel for a new Barbie-themed flip phone. As per the company, three different phones will be launched in the market in July month of this year and one in May. Ahead of any launch company has teased a phone with its launch timeline.
As per the recent post on X by the company, it will launch a new phone in July. The teaser shows a section of the rear panel in the pocket. Other than branding nothing more can be seen in the image. A significant amount of information is yet to come about these phones. One point that HMD has made clear is that its Barbie-themed phone will not be a clamshell phone with a foldable screen but a “retro feature phone”.

HMD phones have earlier also appeared on Geekbench revealed both of them will run Android 14 and will be powered by an octa-core processor. One of them appeared with the name of Legend and the other appeared with the Legend Pro. Things are yet not clear around HMD as it’s speculated that HMD is moving away from the Nokia brand.
