Just a few days back a new HMD device called HMD Arc was spotted on Geekbench and TDRA certification websites. Based on the details revealed about the device, it was said that it could be similar to the HMD Aura device.
Well HMD has today officially unveiled the HMD Arc device and as expected, the device arrives with design and specs similar to the HMD Aura device. The pricing and availability details are yet not revealed but the device is listed on the company’s website which confirms its spec details.
HMD Arc: Features
The smartphone features a 6.52-inch LCD display that offers HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, and 460 nits brightness. It is powered by Unisoc 9863A SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is also supported by a memory card of up to 128GB. The device packs up a 13MP main rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery and can be charged at 10W via a USB-C port.
It runs on Android 14 Go OS and is promised to receive 2 years of security updates. Other features include- Bluetooth 5.2, a USB-C port, a headphone jack, a fingerprint scanner on the side, one speaker, and one microphone. It measures 166.4×76.9×8.95mm and weighs 185.4g. Depending on the market, the phone has an IP52 or IP54 rating.
