HMD To Announce Its First Smartphone For The Indian Market on 29th April

Back in January, the codenames of the first batch of HMD’s handsets were revealed online including- Pulse, Pulse Pro, Pulse+, Legend, Legend Pro, and Legend+. These devices were part of the rumor mill for a long time and recently HMD has officially launched the Pulse series in the global markets.

Today HMD India has officially announced that the name of the first HMD smartphone for the Indian region will be revealed on 29th April.

Well, there is still confusion whether the first HMD device for India will be from the Pulse series or the Legend series. Hence we need to wait for the official announcement. For now, lets take a look at the specs of the HMD Pulse series that recently made its debut globally.

HMD Pulse series: Specifications

HMD Pulse range is built to “Gen 1 repairability” and users can pick up self-repair kits from iFixit. The devices feature a 6.56-inch display that offers HD+ screen resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. HMD Pulse and Pulse+ smartphones are backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging. While Pulse Pro arrives with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 20W charging. The devices arrive with a side fingerprint sensor. All three smartphones are powered by Unisoc T606.

HMD Pulse Pro features a 50MP front camera and back camera. While HMD Pulse features a 13MP main rear camera and Pulse+ features a 50MP main rear camera. HMD Pulse and Pulse+ are equipped with an 8MP selfie camera. If we talk about storage configurations, HMD Pulse is said to arrive with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB storage, HMD Pulse+ is said to arrive with 4G/6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage while Pulse Pro is said to arrive with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
