Honor 200 5G Series Microsite Goes Live On Amazon India, Launch Imminent

Honor just recently confirmed the launch of the Honor 200 5G series in India and now the the microsite is live on Amazon. This confirms its availability post-launch and also suggests the company’s strategy to market this phone in India. The dedicated page on Amazon confirms that the smartphone will come with cinematic photography capability cameras and a curved display. It also shows the data of a survey conducted by the company that talks about the Indian users facing issues with pre-installed apps, unwanted apps, and declining smartphone performance after an update and operating system.

Honor this time wants to solve the issue of pre-installed apps, ads, and declining performance. It also mentions the OS which means this series can come with the MagicOS 8.0 out of the box which the CEO at HTech, Madhav Sheth mentioned in an interview. He also said that with the debut of Honor Magic 200 5G series in India Honor’s other smartphones will also receive the update of MagicOS 8.0.

The launch date of the series remains under wrap, though it’s expected that Honor can launch the series in the first week of this month. There are chances that this series can come with the Honor Choice Earbuds X5e that was recently spotted on India’s BIS certification website. This series was recently launched in the European market, let’s get to know about the specs.

Honor 200 series specs

Honor 200 series comes with the 6.7-inch wide quad curved screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 4,000nits of peak brightness. In the camera department, the smartphones sport a 50MP portrait main camera complemented by a 50MP telephoto camera a 12MP ultra-wide, and a macro camera with a 112-degree ultra-wide angle view and a 2.5cm ultra-short focus. The vanilla model is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC while the Pro model is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. The smartphones are backed by a 5200mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging.
