Honor 200 Lite 5G now released in France with 6.7″ AMOLED display, 108MP Main Camera and more at €329.90

Honor has released its first handset from the 200 series in France today which is Honor 200 Lite 5G. While France may just be the start, it is also expected to come to other countries like Thailand and UAE.

Just like we predicted, the model number was similar to that of the already available Honor X50i Plus, which was launched in China last year. Even, though both smartphones have similar specs but do carry different style patterns. While the Honor X50i Plus came with a semi-circular camera module housing a dual camera setup, the 200 Lite 5G on the other hand comes with a triple camera setup placed on a rectangular camera module. But both are powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 6080

Honor 200 Lite 5G Specs

It comes with a 6.7″ AMOLED 3240Hz risk-free high-frequency screen with Multi-touch gestures and support for up to 10 touchpoints. Under the hood, it has MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SOC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 having a CPU configuration of 2 x A76 2.4 GHz + 6 x A55 2.0 GHz. It is launched with a single configuration of 8GB RAM + 8GB Virtual RAM and 256 GB Storage. It will boot from Honor MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 with Honor’s Magic Portal (AI-powered app) and Magic Capsule.

Just like the Honor X50i Plus it has a 108MP main camera but has a  5MP Ultra-Wide and 2MP Macro camera, while the X50i Plus doesn’t have Ultra-Wide. Now here is something Honor is giving that is a blast, it comes with a 50MP  (f/2.1) front camera with 2D facial recognition. I mean in terms of specs, it does sound quite nice to have a 50MP front camera. But it would be interesting to see how it performs.

In terms of weight, it only weighs about 166 grams and has a thickness of 6.78mm.

Moving onto the battery, it comes with a 4500 mAh battery (rated capacity of 4400 mAh) and supports 35W HONOR SuperCharge. For connectivity, it offers 5G NR, 4G LTE-FDD/LTE-TDD, 3G, WCDMA, 2G GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, and BluetoothBT5.1. Other sensors include a side fingerprint reader, Fingerprint unlock support, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gravity sensor, and Compass support.

Pricing and Availability

It is currently up for sale in France with a price tag of €329.90 or 4 x €82.48 (free of charge) for the 8GB+8GB virtual RAM and 256GB storage and is offered in three colours: Starry Blue (Exclusive color), Cyan Lake and Midnight Black.
