Honor 200 Series Launched In Europe And UK With Studio Level Portrait Camera, Eye Comfort Display
Honor has finally launched the much-awaited Honor 200 series in the global market during an event at the iconic Hipódromo de París-Longchamp in Paris. This series has already been launched in China and is also confirmed to soon launch in India. Let’s get to know about the features of these phones in detail.
Honor 200 specifications
The Honor 200 smartphone features a 6.7-inch wide quad curved screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 4,000nits of peak brightness. It also comes with Wet Touch enhancement, full-screen AOD, Netflix HDR certification, and Amazon HDR certification. These features are going to ensure that you enjoy the content on it in the best quality. The display takes care of your eyes with the 3840Hz risk-free dimming, AI Circadian Night that intelligently controls the temperature of the display. It is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It’s All-range Cooling System 2.0 adopts a super-large stainless steel biomimetic VC, 5029mm2, with a total heat dissipation area of 34696mm2, offering industry-leading, ultra-high thermal conductivity performance.
Its camera department has a triple camera system on the rear featuring a 50MP portrait main camera with a Sony IMX906 sensor, OIS support, and f/1.95 aperture. It is complemented by a 50MP telephoto camera with Sony IMX856 ultra-large sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide and macro camera with 112-degree ultra-wide angle view and 2.5cm ultra-short focus. Honor 200 Pro specifications
The Honor 200 Pro smartphone boasts a similar display and camera specs as the Honor 200 smartphone. You get to see the difference in the processor, and charging aspect mainly. The Honor 200 Pro smartphone is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with an Honor C1+RF enhanced chip that supports more 5G coverage by enhancing the antenna reception and antenna transmission. The smartphone is backed by a 5200mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 66W wireless charging allowing users to charge it up to 50% through wired charging in just 15 minutes and wirelessly up to 64% in just 30 minutes. The smartphone comes in an IP65-rated body and runs Android-based MagicOS 8.0. The rest of the things are the same as the standard ones.
Price and availability
Honor 200 series is available for purchase in Europe and the UK from today. The pre-order through major retailers will begin on the 21st of June, with a general sale on the 26th of June. Both devices will also be available in Three on the 28th of June and in other key UK operators in due course. Its Honor 200 smartphone is priced at £499 (~$642) in the UK and €599 (~$650) in the EU. The Honor 200 Pro smartphone is priced at £699 (~$898) in the UK and €799 (~$866) in the EU. With the standard version, the buyers will get free JBL Charge 5 WiFi and with the Pro model, the buyers will get the free Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8.
