Honor 200 Series Revealed To Launch In Global Markets On 12 June
The Chinese manufacturer Honor recently confirmed that its highly anticipated Honor 200 series will be making its debut in the Chinese market on 27th May. Since the predecessor of this series arrived with two models- Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro, the same is expected for the upcoming Honor 200 series.
There are just a few days left for the launch of this series in China and the brand has now revealed the global launch date of this latest series. Yesterday Honor held an event at VivaTech in which the company unveiled its 4-layer AI architecture that will be developed in collaboration with Google and Cloud.
In this particular Honor officially announced that Honor 200 series will be launching in Paris on June 12. The series will be powered by MagicOS 8.0. It was also revealed that the Honor 200 series will be the first to arrive with the new AI architecture unveiled by the company.
This 4-layer AI structure includes- cross-OS AI, platform-level AI layer, app-level AI, and Cloud AI services. Honor’s official website has already revealed that the series will arrive with one AI feature- Portrait photography developed in cooperation with Harcourt Studio. The turquoise variant of the series is also officially revealed.
Honor 200 Series: Specs (expected)
Recent reports have revealed that Honor 200 and 200 Pro could be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. Both devices are also expected to support 100W fast charging.
Honor 200 series is tipped to arrive with a 50-megapixel main camera featuring a 1/1.3-inch OmniVision OV50H camera sensor. It may come with an f/1.9 aperture and OIS support. A telephoto camera with a 50x digital zoom is likely to accompany it. Both phones may pack a 5,200mAh battery.
