The Chinese smartphone brand Honor is all set to make its comeback in India after a year with the launch of its most talked about smartphone- Honor 90 5G. This upcoming device has already made its official debut in China and other global markets and now it will be making its way into the Indian market too.
Recently Realme’s former CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the launch of the smartphone in India is very soon and as per previous reports is expected to take place in the month of September. Just after this tipster Abhishek Yadav who goes by @yabhishekhd on X stated that Honor 90 5G could make its debut in India on September 21.

However this is just the rumored launch date and we still need to wait for the official confirmation. Let’s take a look at the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
Honor 90 5G: Specifications
The device is previously confirmed to arrive with a smooth and clean UI while it will run on MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13. Since the device has already made its debut in global markets we do have an idea of its specifications.
For its display, the smartphone features an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.7 inches and a screen resolution of 1200 x 2664 pixels. The display also supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness rate of 1600 nits, and a screen density of 435 PPI. Coming to its cameras, the device at its rear sports a triple camera setup with a main camera of 200MP, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth camera. On its display, the smartphone also features a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera of 50MP as well.
Regarding its battery backup, the smartphone packs a 5000 mAh battery with a 66W wired fast charge feature and a reverse wired fast charge feature of upto 5W. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
