Honor confirms partnership with Porsche Design studio, Magic 6 and Magic V3 Porsche Design Editions expected
Honor has released the above poster to confirm its partnership with Porsche Design Studio. It is a clear hint that some of the upcoming Honor phones in China will have a special Porsche Design variant.
According to CNMO, Honor CEO Zhao Ming expressed excitement at partnering with Porsche Design during the cooperation signing event. He highlighted the collaboration’s aim to blend exceptional design and performance through open cooperation, bringing high-end smart products with innovative features to the market. The alliance seeks to combine Honor’s consumer-centric approach with Porsche Design’s pioneering brand philosophy.
As per reports, Honor is expected to announce the Honor Magic 6 series featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in January 2024. Rumours are rife that the lineup will have three models, such as Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro, and Magic 6 Ultimate. There is a possibility that there could be another Magic 6 Porsche Design Edition variant, or this model could be used instead of the Ultimate variant.
There are reports that Honor will announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Magic V3 foldable phone in the first quarter of 2024 in China. It is speculated that the brand will also release a special variant dubbed the Honor Magic V3 Porsche Design Edition.
For those who don’t know, Porsche Design previously partnered with Huawei for a long period of seven years. Before that, it teamed up with BlackBerry to launch a couple of Porsche Design models.
