Honor gears up with a drop test trend for its new phone, launch imminent
Honor has begun preparing to set a new trend for its new phone. This phone is supposed to be an Honor X9B which has already appeared on multiple certification websites like IMDA, TDRA, and BIS. Recently Madhav Sheth, CEO of HTech wrote on X “Can you drop off your X if it’s curvy”. This suggested that he was talking about a curved screen and drop test though it was not confirmed back then.
Do you need something eXtra?
The X's curved display effortlessly conquered the gravity challenge.

Then he posted a video on X in which he can be seen dropping a phone from his waist, shoulder, 8 feet, and extreme height. As per the video, despite hitting ground from different heights and at different angles it didn’t cause damage to its display. This is for sure a beginning of a new trend as we got to see while Honor was about to launch Honor 90 5G smartphone in India.
