At the MWC 2023 Honor unveiled its flagship Magic 5 series which includes the Magic 5 Pro and Magic 5. The brand’s latest smartphones have already made their way into Chinese markets. Now the global edition of Honor Magic 5 Pro seems to make its way to consumers soon as the device has been spotted on two certification websites.
Honor Magic 5 Pro 5G global variant appeared on the Geekbench listing with model number PGT-N19. Its single-core score was 1472 and its multi-core score was 4668.
The smartphone was also spotted on the FCC certification website with the same model number as that on the Geekbench listing.
The smartphone that appeared on these websites is the global version of Honor Magic 5 Pro 5G. We can say this while searching for the model number PGT-N19 we came across a Github post that suggested that this model number is the global variant for the Honor Magic 5 Pro.
Also from both websites, it was confirmed that the smartphone will run Android 13 based MagicOS 7.1 out of the box. As per the listing, it appears that this upcoming smartphone will come with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor as the Chinese version. On the FCC certification website, it was revealed that the smartphone will support wireless charging.
This smartphone is the production unit that has been tested at the FCC which clearly hints that we will soon be witnessing the launch of this smartphone. Though Honor has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of the Honor Magic 5 Pro 5G global edition.
