Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design and Imaging Technology Conference Announced: To be Held on 23rd December 2024

The Chinese smartphone maker, Honor, very recently unveiled its GT smartphone and Pad V9 tablet in the Chinese market and now, the brand has turned its attention towards the upcoming Magic 7 series smartphone – Honor Magic 7 RSR. The pre-booking of the smartphone recently began in China and following which, the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design and Imaging Technology Conference has been announced by the brand. It will be conducted this month and the event could also mark the debut of Honor’s Magic 7 RSR smartphone.

Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design and Imaging Technology Conference Announced – 23rd December

So far Honor has only unveiled two smartphone models under the Magic 7 flagship series – Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro, whereas the Magic 7 RSR which is expected to be third smartphone model of the series was tipped to launch by the end of this month in December 2024. Via the newly shared poster image, the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design and Imaging Technology Conference has been announced to be held on the 23rd of December 2024, early next week, in Beijing, China. The tech world also expects the brand to launch its latest Magic 7 RSR smartphone model too at the same event.

Honor Magic 7 RSR - Launch Conference

Speaking more about this upcoming smartphone, it said to arrive as the first iterative imaging flagship and will feature the Flyline Porsche design with two color choices – Provence Purple and Agate Gray. Some of its expected/revealed specs include the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 6.8″ LTPO quad-curved display with 1.5K screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP(primary) + 50MP(ultrawide) + 200MP(periscope telephoto) triple rear camera system, 50MP selfie camera, 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging features, single-point ultrasonic fingerprint reader, IP68/IP69 rated body, and dual satellite support. Moreover, the device has also received certifications from the 3C and MIIT authorities of China as well.

[Just to add, apart from the Magic 7 RSR, a Magic 7 Lite model is also coming soon under the series. Furthermore, it has been spotted on Google Play Console and GCF databases, and has also received the EMVCo approval for secure contactless pay.]
