Honor Magic V Flip’s case image hints a massive cover display
Well-known Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station has shared an image of Honor Magic V Flip’s cover screen casing. Apart from releasing the image, the tipster claimed that the entire outer screen casing of the device features only a frame, indicating a genuinely large outer screen.
It is reported that Honor’s supply chain is currently procuring the largest external screen in the small folding industry. This indicates that the release of Honor’s small folding phone may be imminent, with the “largest external screen in the industry.”
Above is a mock render of the Magic V Flip, showcasing a massive cover display and a round camera module. Reports have revealed that the Magic V Flip will house a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery. However, the phone’s other specifications remain undisclosed. Moreover, rumours suggest that it will be the thinnest and lightest flip-style foldable phone.
Honor will unveil the Honor 200 series of smartphones on May 27 in China. It is speculated that the brand will unveil the Honor Magic V Flip in June, followed by the Magic V3 foldable phone’s announcement in July.
The Magic Flip is expected to face competition from the Xiaomi Mix Flip, which may launch around the same time. In addition, it will also face competition from the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is expected to break cover in July.
