Honor officially teases Porsche 911 designed phone, could be Magic 6 Porsche Design
Honor recently confirmed that it will be teaming up with the German-based Porsche Design studio. Today, the company released the first poster for the Porsche Design-branded smartphone. The teaser image suggests that the Porsche 911 sports car will serve as inspiration for its appearance.
The image released by the brand showcases a Porsche Design smartphone with an ultra-thin design. Reports have claimed that the company is working on two Porsche Design models. The first one appears to be the Honor Magic 6 Porsche Design, which may debut in January in China.
The company is also said to be working on the Honor Magic V3 foldable phone for the Chinese market. It is speculated that there will also be a special variant dubbed the Honor Magic V3 Porsche Design. It appears that the appearance of both special edition models could be inspired by the Porsche 911 sports car.
The Honor Magic 6 series and the Magic V3 are said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, the rumour mill hasn’t revealed many details about the foldable phone.
Regarding the Magic 6 series, the rumour mill has been leaking its details in bits and pieces. Recent reports have revealed that the series will have a quad-curved OLED panel with a pill-shaped cutout for dual front-facing cameras. The Magic 6 Pro, which is said to be the topmost model in the series, is expected to support two-way satellite communication. The Porsche Design variant may pack the same specs as the Magic 6 Pro but offer better aesthetics.
