The Chinese smartphone brand Honor has expanded its Honor Play 40 series in its home country by launching a new smartphone- Honor Play 40S. The series already includes two models- Honor Play 40 5G, and Honor Play 40C 5G and now comes a third model in the line.
Honor Play 40S 5G: Specifications & Features
The smartphone is 8.35mm thick and weighs 188 grams. It features a 6.56-inch LCD display that offers HD+ resolution (1612x720p) and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the front, the device features a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC that is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The device packs up a 13MP main rear camera and 5MP front camera. Video recording on this device is possible with 1080p resolution. It is backed by a 5200mAh battery. It runs on MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13. Other features are- natural light-like eye protection, Hi-Res audio, face unlock, fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, and anti-fraud reminder loss warning.

The smartphone is available in two color variants- Midnight black and green. It is priced at 999 Yuan in Chinese markets.
