Honor X50 to arrive with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, 1.5K OLED display
Honor will announce the Honor X50 mid-range phone on July 5 in China. The company rolled out two posters today to reveal the chipset and key specifications of the smartphone.
In the first poster shown below, the company revealed that the Honor X50 is equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, which is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 6-series chip. The only other phone that features the same chip is the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G 2023.
The other poster confirms the design and key specifications of the X50. As can be seen, the device sports an attractive curved-edge display on the front. Its rear shell has a round camera module, which features a 108-megapixel dual-camera system and an LED flash. The X50 will come in three colours: gradient white, silver, and orange.
The text present at the lower-left corner of the same poster reveals that the Honor X50’s display supports a 1.5K resolution of 1200 x 2652 pixels and a pixel density of 429 ppi. In all likelihood, it features an AMOLED display that is integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
Reports have revealed that the Honor X50 will come with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage in China. It is expected to support 35W fast charging, feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and run on Magic UI 7.1-based Android 13.
