Honor X7B 5G Spotted on IMDA Certification, hinting a possible rebrand of the upcoming Honor 90 Smart
Honor launched the Honor X7B 4G variant in the global market last year in December. And now it looks like it is all set to launch a 5G variant of this smartphone. The reason behind it is that we at The Tech Outlook have spotted this smartphone on the Singapore IMDA certification website with the model number CLK-NX1.
Honor X7B 5G IMDA Certification
As per the listing, only the model number and the moniker have been confirmed, apart from it being identified as a low-power device. Not much additional information has been revealed by this certification. However, earlier this same model number was spotted on the GCF certification website but with a different moniker “Honor 90 Smart”.
So it looks like Honor might release this same smartphone under two names “Honor 90 Smart” and “Honor X7B 5G” as per both certifications. The GCF certification shows it will support 4G connectivity with support for LTE Band 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28 and 32. While for 5G it will have 5G NR (SA) and 5G EN-DC (NSA) connectivity with support for n1, n3, n8, n20, n38, n40, n41, n77, and n78 bands.
Apart from this, not much is available as to what specs it may carry or the launch date. The brand hasn’t shared any details so far about this upcoming smartphone. But the way it is popping up on certification websites, it looks like we may hear something soon from the brand itself.
Other Updates
Honor has recently confirmed that it will be launching three new products in the Chinese market on 18th March. These will be the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition, the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design, and the Honor MagicBook Pro 16.
