Honor’s Latest X9c 5G Smartphone Launching Soon in Malaysia: Listed on Official Website
Honor, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, will soon be unveiling its successor to the 2023-released X9b smartphone. The launch will soon take place in the Malaysian market and the upcoming device has been listed in the country’s official Honor website.
The Honor X9b 5G was praised as the best mid-range smartphone in terms of protection, and the next Honor X9c 5G will be offering an even better level of protection, along with other benefits. Read more about what has been officially revealed below.
Honor X9c 5G – Launching Soon in Malaysia
While the Malaysian listing of the Honor X9c 5G smartphone doesn’t reveal anything about the device’s specs or pricing, we are able to understand that three color choices will be made available – Titanium Purple, Jade Cyan, and Titanium Black.
Design-wise, the device shows some similarities with the previous X9b 5G, but there are notable design changes. The display is almost the same with slim bezels, slightly thicker chin, and curved right and left display sides. Instead of the centrally-aligned punch-hole camera, this time there is a pill shaped unit at the center with the front-facing camera and another sensor.
At the rear, a new circular dual-tone slightly projected camera module is given. There are four internal circular units within it, and the first two carry camera sensors, and the third has the LED flashlight. Do note that the main camera is 108MP. The rear panel is flat, curved towards the sides, and the side panels are on the slimmer side. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right side panel, and at the bottom, we can spot the speaker holes (5), USB type-C port, microphone hole, and the card tray. There are three holes at the top too, which could be for a speaker or additional mic.
Speaking more, the Honor X9c 5G will be offering the industry’s very first triple assurance program with 365-day front and back crack replacement, 180-day one to one replacement (for purchases until 15th December 2024), and 36-months battery assurance policy. Moreover, the smartphone is said to feature the next generation anti-drop display (withstands up to 2 meter accidental drops) and upgraded water and scratch resistance (tested with IP65M standards and passed 3-minute washing test).
With its soon expected launch, the specifications, availability, and price details of the smartphone can be confirmed. Just to add, two other X-series smartphones have also been in talks for some time. The X7c 4G has already been unveiled, and there is also an X7c 5G model too. The rebranded Honor X7c 5G – Honor 200 Smart has launched in the European market.
Stay tuned for more updates.
