Honor’s Magic Flip Tipped to Feature Largest Battery on a Flip Phone: 4,500 mAh Battery Backup
Honor, the Chinese smartphone maker and a former Huawei subsidiary has made a terrific comeback with multiple products, including many foldable devices. Now, the brand is expected to unveil a new flip form factor device and the battery backup of this upcoming device has been tipped.

Honor Magic Flip – Battery Capacity Tipped
Honor conducted its IFA 2023 global event at the beginning of September this year, and two foldable devices were launched at the event. One of them was expected to be the brand’s very first flip device, however, it was the Magic V2 foldable and the Magic V Purse that was unveiled.
The upcoming Magic Flip has already been listed on CNIPA(China National Intellectual Property Administration) for trademark, and the device was said to have its launch next year, in 2024. Features like a periscope telephoto lens, IPX8-rated body, and 50W wireless charging support have also been tipped.
The same tipster who had previously revealed the above-mentioned specifications and the expected launch time frame, Digital Chat Station, has now shared via a Weibo post that this upcoming flip smartphone from Honor will be featuring the largest battery on a flip form factor device.
As per what has been shared, the upcoming Honor Magic Flip has been tipped to pack a battery with a total capacity of 4,500 mAh(2,420 mAh + 1,980 mAh). The tipster has also pointed out that the device will be powered by one of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon high-performing processors. The tipster’s post also suggests features like satellite communication and variable aperture on the device.
