Honor’s New GT Phone Official Launch Date Announced; Key Specs and Color Variants Revealed Online

Following the recent release of its sub-flagship 300 series, the Chinese smartphone maker, Honor, is preparing to unveil a new GT phone in its home market. After teasing it, the brand has now officially announced its launch date. In related news, some of its key specs and color variants have also been shared online too.

Honor New GT Phone – Launching on 16th December

This upcoming Honor GT phone, as it can easily be understood, will be a performance-centered device and impressive gaming specs can be expected on it. The first teaser poster, as well as the following posters, suggested of its peaked performance level.

Design-wise too, it has been pointed out with flat rear and side panels for better handheld gaming, along with a rectangular-shaped rear camera module (housing two camera sensors and a dual-tone LED flashlight) placed in a vertical manner at the top-left corner of the rear panel. A ‘GT’ engraving can also be spotted at the lower-right of the rear camera module. Speaker holes, USB type-C port, microphone hole, and card tray are present at the bottom. Also, the device has a dual tone rear panel design, and the Black(only a glimpse) and White color models have been officially teased.

Speaking of its launch date, the official launch has been scheduled on the 16th of December 2024, a week later, in China, at 7:30 PM local time.

Coming to the tipped details, this Honor GT Phone is said to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip (the same processor which powers the brand’s latest 300 Pro and 300 Ultra devices), and it may feature a 1.5K LTPS flat OLED display. A 100W wired fast charge feature is also among the expected specs, and the device is likely to have a plastic frame. Four storage variants of 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB, and three color variants of Ice Crystal White, Phantom Black, and Aurora Green might be offered.

The renders of the White and Black color variants have also been shared online, aligning with the officially shared design aspects.
