Huawei Mate 60 Smartphone Launched in China at a Starting Price of CNY 5,499
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Huawei, has launched the Mate 60 smartphone in its home market in China. The device will be available in three storage options and four colour choices.

Huawei Mate 60 Launched
Huawei’s vanilla Mate 60 smartphone is a 4G device and runs on the brand’s own HarmonyOS 4.0 custom UI. It is coupled with an LPDDR5 RAM of 12GB and comes in three UFS 3.1 internal storages of upto 1TB.
For its display, the smartphone features a flat OLED display panel with a screen size of 6.69″. The display also has an FHD+ screen resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, touch sampling rate of 300Hz and a PWM dimming of 1440Hz.
Coming to the cameras, the device at its rear sports a triple camera setup with a 50MP OIS main camera with f/1.4-4.0 variable aperture. A 12MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP periscope telephoto camera are the two additional cameras offered. At its front, a 16MP punch-hole selfie camera is also provided.
Regarding the battery, the smartphone is equipped with a 4750 mAh decent battery. The device also supports 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging features as well.
Some of the other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 rating, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax(2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 and USB 3.1 Gen 1.
About the price, the 12GB/256GB base model is priced at CNY 5,499(~$750) and the 12GB/512GB model has a price point of CNY 5,999(~$820). The high-end model comes at a price of CNY 6,999(~$960). Four colour choices for the smartphone are also available and users will be able to pick the device in Green, White, Purple and Black colours.
Very recently, the Pro model of the series, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, 12GB/512GB variant, was also made available for purchase in the Chinese market with its sale still live.
