Huawei Mate X3 key details leaked before official announcement
Huawei is all set to launch a couple of new products on March 23 in China. Some of the expected devices include the Mate X3 foldable phone, the P60 series of flagship phones, and the MatePad 11 (2023) flagship tablet. The rumour mill has already leaked a lot of information about the Mate X3. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed a few more details about the X3.
According to DCS, the Mate X3 will have a 7.8-inch foldable OLED panel that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera setup of the device will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera and a periscope zoom lens. The tipster has previously revealed that its camera setup will comprise a Sony IMX688 ultra-wide camera and a Sony IMX351 periscope zoom camera.
The Mate X3 will be the company’s first foldable phone to support wireless charging. It will offer an IPX8 rating for water resistance, and its hinge will allow users to keep it open at multiple angles. It will have Kunlun glass on the back for drop resistance.
Previous reports have revealed that the Mate X3 will have a 6.45-inch OLED cover display, be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 4G chipset, and have a 4,800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. It is also expected to arrive with support for satellite connectivity.
