HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 reaches up to Beidou Satellite Communication
Recently, HUAWEI revealed that the exceptional Mate Xs 2 foldable phone will support Beidou satellite communication. The news is to be announced during Huawei Developer Conference in China on November 5, 2022. Just like on the Mate 50 series it will only work in China.
The feature was first introduced by the company with Mate 50 series and has been widely appreciated as a breakthrough in the tech realm.
The technique has been adopted by other companies such as Apple as well. The notable bit is that Meta Xs 2 would be the first foldable phone to support short message communication via satellite.
The feature will prove to be an extreme aid for emergencies when there’s no network coverage. It will let users share their location with local authorities and/or friends.
The catch is, you’ll only be able to send outbound messages without the ability to receive them. HUAWEI, however, is working on bringing two-way communication over satellite via SMS and voice calls in the future though.
Quick Features:-
