Huawei Nova 12s Smartphone Announced in the Malaysian Market

Huawei, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, has already unveiled four smartphones in its Nova 12 series and this includes the Nova 12, Nova 12 Pro, Nova 12 Ultra, and Nova 12 Lite models. Nova 12i and Nova 12 SE devices are also reported to be in the works. Now, what could be the rebranded version of the Nova 12 Lite smartphone – the Huawei Nova 12s has debuted in Malaysia.

Huawei Nova 12s Unveiled in Malaysia

The Huawei Nova 12s smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G, and has the Adreno 642L GPU onboard. It runs on the EMUI 14 custom skin.

For the display, it features an OLED display screen with a size of 6.7″, resolution of 2412 x 1084 pixels, and refresh rate of 120Hz. 300Hz touch sampling rate and 1.07 billion colors are also two other display specs.

Coming to the cameras, it sports a 50MP main camera (f/1.9 aperture) and an 8MP ultrawide camera (f/2.2 aperture) at the rear, and a 60MP ultra wide portrait camera for selfies.

Regarding the battery, it packs a 4500 mAh battery and supports a 66W Huawei SuperCharge Turbo 2.0 fast charging feature.

Other notable specs are 4G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/a with 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band support, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB 2.0 connectivity, USB type-C ear-jack, under-display fingerprint scanner, and different location positioning services and other sensors.

Price and Availability

In Malaysia, the Huawei Nova 12s has been introduced only in 8GB/256GB storage option and it will be available in Blue, White, and Black colors. Its exact pricing detail is not yet known. Probably, it might be made available soon for purchase.
