Infinix GT 20 Pro certified in Thailand, launch imminent

Infinix GT 20 Pro bearing the model number X6871 was recently approved by certification platforms, such as the FCC, Europe’s EEC, TUV Rheinland, Indonesia’s SDPPI, India’s BIS, and Wi-Fi Alliance. Now the same device has received approval from Thailand’s NBTC certification site. These certifications are a good hint that the GT 20 Pro may break cover within the second quarter of this year.

As seen above, the NBTC listing only specifies the device’s X6871 model number without explicitly revealing its name. It is quite evident from recent reports that the X6871 device will debut in the market with the Infinix GT 20 Pro branding. Here is a look at the specifications of the device that have emerged through recent reports.

According to reports, the Infinix GT 20 Pro will come equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chipset. It is expected to arrive in two options, such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.

The GT 20 Pro is expected to run on Android 14 which is likely to offer a near-stock experience. It is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Infinix has recently announced the Infinix Note 40 series of smartphones for the global market. The brand is gradually releasing the Note 40 models in different markets. The Note 40 Pro 5G and Note 40 Pro+ 5G are expected to be released in April in India. The company may likely start teasing the arrival of the GT 20 Pro after the Note 40 series is made available in wider markets.
