[Update] Infinix Hot 50 5G Launching in India on September 5; Microsite Now Live

Update on 03rd September 2024: As per the new update, Infinix Hot 50 5G will launch in India on September 5th. Dont know the reason why they changed it, but now its 5th September. It will be available via Flipkart.

Infinix is set to unveil the Hot 50 Series, which was recently spotted on the IMEI database. The series comprises the Hot 50 4G, Hot 50 Pro, Hot 50 Pro+, Hot 50 5G, and Hot 50i. We previously covered the Hot 50 5G’s appearance on the Google Play Console and Geekbench database, along with other certifications, which suggested an imminent launch. It has now been confirmed that the Hot 50 5G will launch in the Indian market on 6 September. A microsite for the device is now live on the Infinix India official website, revealing some of its key specifications

According to the teaser on the microsite, the device will be marketed as the “Slimmest and Most Reliable 5G Smartphone”. The rear features a capsule-shaped design with three cameras arranged vertically in a square cutout, accompanied by an LED flash. It also bears engravings indicating an aspherical lens with an aperture of f/1.8 and a focal length of 25mm. The design appears refreshing, boasting flat edges and a thickness of 7.8mm.

Infinix Hot 50 5G details revealed

 

Infinix claims the device will maintain its performance for five years, retaining 80% of its original capability after 60 months. The smartphone also carries an IP54 splash-proof rating. Whilst the microsite reveals blue and green colour options, a report from Gadget 360 suggests the device will be available in blue and black.

Gadget 360 also reports that it will feature the Dimensity 6300, aligning with my prediction. Additionally, the device is expected to offer two RAM options: 4GB and 8GB, paired with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. As per the TUV certification, it is expected to come with a battery capacity of 4,900 mAh.
