Infinix launched the Smart 8 with 90 Hz display and 50MP camera at the price of Rs 7,499

Infinix recently launched the Infinix Smart 8 HD smartphone in India. Now the company has finally launched the Infinix Smart 8 in India. This new budget smartphone features a 6.6-inch wide HD+ 90 Hz display with a punch hole cutout that houses an 8MP selfie camera with LED flash.

It is powered by the Helio G36 SoC paired with 4GB RAM 4GB virtual RAM and 64GB internal storage. The rear side of the smartphone sports a 50MP camera with an AI lens. For security it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

Similar to Smart 8 HD smartphone it also features a Magic Ring feature that allows users to access Face Unlock, Background Call, Charging Animation, Charge Completion Reminder, and Low Battery Reminder. It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that is charged by a Type-C port.

Pricing and availability

The Infinix Smart 8 smartphone comes in Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Galaxy White, and Rainway Blue colour options. It will be available for buyers from 15th January on Flipkart at the price of Rs 7,499. Users will be able to avail of up to 10% discount on ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda Cards for a limited period thus bringing the price down to Rs 6,749.
