The Hong Kong-based smartphone maker, Infinix has introduced its latest Hot 40i smartphone in India. The device comes in a single storage option and four color choices.

Infinix Hot 40i Unveiled for Indian Customers
Infinix’s Hot 40i smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T606 (12 nm) processor and has the Mali-G57 MP1 GPU within it. It runs on the brand’s own XOS 13 custom skin based on the Android 13 operating system. In India, it only comes in 8GB/256GB storage configuration (+8GB extended virtual RAM).
It has an IPS LCD display panel with a screen size of 6.6″. Other display specs are the 83.6% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, 720 x 1612 pixels resolution, 269 PPI screen density, 480 nits peak brightness rate, and 90Hz refresh rate.
At the rear, this latest smartphone sports a 50MP dual camera setup. The additional camera is an auxiliary lens. For selfies, the device has a 32MP front-facing camera with flash(India’s first). Portrait Mode, Super Night Mode, Ultra HD Mode, Pro Camera Mode, and Short Video Mode are some of its camera features.
A 5000 mAh decent battery is also packed inside the device. An 18W USB type-C fast charge support and a reverse wired charging feature are also part of this smartphone.
Other specs include 4G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band support, Bluetooth, DTS sound processing, triple card tray, up to 2TB expandable storage, punch hole with Magic Ring, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, IP53-rated splash-proof body, Premium Starfall Design, and chrome side frame.
Price and Availability
The Infinix Hot 40i smartphone (8GB/256GB model) has an actual list price of Rs. 10,999 in India, but on Flipkart it has been listed at a 9% discounted price of Rs. 9,999 as part of the launch. Customers will also be able to purchase the smartphone in Horizon Gold, Palm Blue, Starfall Green, and Starlit Black colors. Various offers as well as EMI facility will be provided to customers.
The official sale of the Infinix Hot 40i smartphone will commence on the 21st of February 2024 at 12PM local time. Also to add, with the Rs. 1,000 exchange benefit, customers can also get the device for as low as Rs. 8,999 too.
