Infinix launches Note 50 & Note 50 Pro in Indonesia with 6.78″ AMOLED, 5200mAh Battery, and Fast Charging

Infinix recently teased the launch of its next Note series, called the Note 50 series, for the Indian market. Additionally, we spotted the Note 50X on TÜV certification, suggesting that it is also on the launch horizon. However, Indonesia is getting the Note 50 series ahead of its India launch, with only the 4G variants (Note 50 and Note 50 Pro) currently available. Infinix has not yet shared any timeline regarding the 5G variants of this series.

Infinix Note 50 and Note 50 Pro Specs

Both models feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display delivering Full HD+ resolution with vibrant colors and smooth visuals, thanks to a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset powers both smartphones. The standard Note 50 is configured with 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage, supported by an option to extend performance with up to 8GB of virtual RAM. The Note 50 Pro ups the ante by offering configurations with either 8GB or 12GB of physical RAM, complemented by 256GB of onboard storage and up to 12GB of virtual memory.

The battery life is solid on both devices, with a 5,200mAh cell at the core. However, charging speeds differ: the base model supports 45W wired charging and 10W reverse charging, while the Pro version boosts charging efficiency with 90W wired and an additional 30W wireless charging option.

Photography is a key selling point, as each model comes with a versatile camera system. The Note 50 is equipped with a triple-camera array that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a secondary macro sensor, and an AI lens, along with a 13-megapixel front camera. In comparison, the Note 50 Pro offers an enhanced experience with a 50-megapixel primary sensor (from Samsung’s GN5 line) supported by OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens boasting a 112-degree field of view, a flicker sensor, and a more powerful 32-megapixel selfie camera.

In addition to the core hardware, Infinix has integrated innovative features like the Bio-Active Halo AI Lighting system. This technology provides real-time visual cues for activities such as camera timing, video recording, and health tracking, while also enhancing charging alerts and notifications. The devices also come with Infinix AI∞, a smart assistant that offers quick responses, assists with photo editing, manages text, and streamlines navigation and communication tasks. Running on XOS 15 based on Android 15, both smartphones include security measures like an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual JBL-tuned speakers, NFC, an infrared blaster, and a robust Armor Alloy metal frame. The Note 50 Pro further refines the experience with an x-axis linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback.
