iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will sport a new 48 MP camera, revealed an analyst
The market is witnessing the launch of numerous smartphones but Apple fans are eagerly waiting for the iPhone 15 series that is to be launched this year. Apple was expected to bring this series in the month of September of this year as it does but a recent report said that it might possibly be delayed by a month.
You can get to know some of the significant information about this series, up until it hits the market. We recently reported about the camera specs of the iPhone 15 Pro Max that came out through tipster DCS.
Tipster reported that iPhone 15 Pro Max can come with a periscope telephoto lens with 6x optical zoom support. And even iPhone 15 camera can go under rearrangement if a periscope telephoto camera is integrated, MacRumors suggested.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will feature a new 48 MP camera
Now the reports have come out through 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) named analyst that two of the iPhone 15 standard versions will feature a new 48 MP camera. As of now, the 48 MP camera is exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The user wrote in his report that “The wide camera CIS of the two iPhone 15 standard models will be upgraded to 48MP and adopt a new stacked CIS design”. Due to this Sony has increased the CIS production capacity for Apple resulting in a reduction in high-end CIS supply for Android.
Now brand vendors will have to look for alternatives as Sony has reduced the supply. And this will eventually benefit Will Semi’s high-end CIS (64 MP+) order growth. Some new collaborations are also likely to happen as Sony’s R&D resources will be focussed on Apple.
