iPhone 16 Pro Max tipped to feature 1.14 inch camera sensor

Reportedly, Apple will be launching the iPhone 15 series this year while iPhone 16 is rumored to debut next year in the month of September. Although iPhone 16 is still far away from its launch it has started making its appearance online as part of rumors, speculations, and leaks. We recently revealed to you that iPhone 16 is tipped to arrive with a vertical camera layout just like the iPhone 12 series.

Now a tipster Revengus who goes by @Tech_Reve on Twitter has shared a post by a digital chat station on Weibo which stated that iPhone 16 Pro Max will be featuring a 1.14-inch camera sensor.

The tipster has earlier also revealed that the device will be equipped with an IMX903 camera sensor while the iPhone 15 Pro Max will continue to use the same sensor as its predecessor iPhone 14 Pro Max. The bigger camera sensor on iPhone 16 Pro Max will naturally result in better images and higher resolution as it lets more light come in.

As per a report by 9to5Mac, the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to sport a 6.9-inch display which is bigger than its predecessor. Its width was reported to be 77.2mm along with a height of 165.0mm.

Since there is still a long time for the launch of the iPhone 16 series we expect some more information to be revealed till that time related to this series.
