iQOO 11s tipped to feature overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
iQOO will announce the iQOO Neo 8 series of smartphones in the Chinese market tomorrow (May 23). The Neo 8 and 8 Pro are expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Dimensity 9200 Plus chipsets, respectively. After the iQOO Neo 8 series, the company is rumoured to launch the iQOO 11s flagship phone. Tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked new and important information about the iQOO 11s.
Rumours are rife that Vivo will announce the Vivo S17 series of smartphones by the end of this month. As can be seen in the above screenshot, DCS has claimed that the Dimensity 9200 Plus-powered Vivo X90S is tentatively scheduled to debut in June.
He added that Vivo’s sub-brand is also planning to launch the iQOO 11s. Previous leaks have claimed that it will feature the D9200+ chip, but according to DCS, it will feature the SM8550 chip, which is nothing but the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. There are some speculations that it could be equipped with an overclocked version of the SD8G2 chip. The tipster did not share any other information about the iQOO 11s.
According to previous reports, the iQOO 11s will feature a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate. It will come in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants, and both will offer 256 GB of internal storage. The model number of the device is said to be V2304A, and it is likely to debut in the third quarter of 2023.
