The smartphone brand iQOO has recently announced that it will be launching the iQOO 12 5G Anniversary Edition Desert Red smartphone in the Indian market on the occasion of the brand’s fourth birthday in the country. The sale for the device will begin on 9th April via Amazon and iQOO’s official website.

The specifications of this upcoming device are similar to that of iQOO 12 5G which has previously made its debut in the country. There is only a slight difference in a few camera modes. Also, the Desert Red color variant of this device was already available in the Chinese market and now it will be making its way in the Indian market too.
iQOO 12 5G Anniversary Edition Desert Red device will be arriving at a starting price of Rs.49,999 and this includes a Rs.3,000 instant discount offered on ICICI and HDFC Bank transactions. Not only this the company will also be offering No Cost EMI facility for up to 12 months. Originally, the 12GB/256GB variant of the device is priced at Rs.52,999 while the 16GB/512GB variant is priced at Rs.57,999.
iQOO 12 5G Desert Red: Specifications (revealed)
As officially confirmed, the smartphone will feature a premium leather finish on the back. It will sport a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display that offers a 144Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits local peak brightness. The display also offers 144 FPS Game Frame Interpolation for selected games. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and equipped with Supercomputing Chip Q1. It has received a 2.1Mn+AnTuTu Score.
The device packs up a triple rear camera unit that includes a 50MP Astrography camera, 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and 50MP ultra wide-angle camera. Camera features include- Astro mode, texture mode, 100x zoom, Star trails mode and 50MP UHD. The upcoming device will be supporting 120W fast charging and users can charge their device up to 50% in just 12 minutes.
