iQOO 12 5G Global Variant spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification website
The smartphone brand iQOO has recently unveiled its latest flagship iQOO 12 series in China. The series included two smartphones- iQOO 12 5G and iQOO 12 Pro 5G. Among these two devices, iQOO 12 5G will be making its debut in the Indian market on 12th December. The launch page of iQOO 12 has been made live on Amazon and recently the company has also been revealing key details about the device.
Ahead of its upcoming Indian launch, the iQOO 12 5G global variant has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website with model number I2220.
The listing reveals that the upcoming smartphone will be supporting Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Let’s take a look at the previously revealed specs of the iQOO 12 5G Indian variant.
iQOO 12 5G: Specifications (revealed)
This upcoming device will be India’s first smartphone that will be powered with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will be arriving in two color variants in India- Alpha edition (Black) and Legend edition (White). It will be equipped with a Q1 SuperComputing chip, and a 6K large vapor chamber, and will offer 144FPS Game Frame Interpolation.
It will run on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14 while it was also announced that iQOO will be removing bloatware like Hot apps, and Hot games from its latest custom skin. iQOO 12 5G users are also promised to get 3 years of Android and 4 years of security updates.
Since the device has already made its debut in China, it is known that it comes with a 6.78-inch wide 1260×2800 pixels resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate display. The camera section includes a triple camera setup on the rear featuring a 50 MP main camera, a periscope telephoto camera of 64 MP, and an ultrawide camera of 50 MP. And there is a 16 MP selfie camera. The handset is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W charging.
