iQOO 12 display specifications officially confirmed, alleged iQOO 12 global variant spotted on Geekbench database

The smartphone brand iQOO will be unveiling its highly anticipated- iQOO 12 series in the Chinese market tomorrow whereas iQOO 12 5G is officially confirmed to make its way in the Indian market on December 12. Ahead of the official launch of this series in China, the smartphones have been spotted on various certification websites. The company has also shared the official poster of this upcoming series revealing the design of the devices.

The brand has recently confirmed the display specs of the iQOO 12 Pro smartphone and now the display specifications of the iQOO 12 5G smartphone have also been revealed.

iQOO 12 5G will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display that will arrive with LTPO support and offer 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 1.5k screen resolution, and 3000 nits peak brightness. The device is also confirmed to arrive with a better vibrational motor and speakers. While iQOO 12 5G will be arriving with an IP64 rating and support 120W fast charging. Recently the Pro model was spotted on the Geekbench database with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and today a device with model number I2220 has been spotted on the Geekbench database which is suspected to be the iQOO 12 global variant.

The device appeared with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset while recently it was officially confirmed that iQOO 12 will be powered with this latest chipset in India. The database revealed that the device received a single core score of 2188 and multi-core score of 6383. The smartphone was revealed to arrive with 12GB RAM and Android 14 OS.
