iQOO 12 Series Starting Price Point Revealed: Costlier than Other Competitors
iQOO will be launching its 12 series flagship devices today in the Chinese market and ahead of it, the starting price of the vanilla iQOO 12 device has been revealed. It is also to be noted that the vanilla model of the iQOO 12 series is slightly costlier when compared to the vanilla models of Vivo’s X100 series and Xiaomi’s 14 series.

iQOO 12 Series Starting Price Revealed
From what has been revealed, the upcoming iQOO 12 smartphone is going to have an in-hand price of CNY 4,299 in the Chinese market for the 12GB/256GB base model. As mentioned when it is compared with the base models of the now available Xiaomi 14 smartphone, and the soon-to-be-launched Vivo X100 smartphone, the iQOO 12 base model is priced at CNY 300 more.
The Xiaomi 14 smartphone which has its base model starting with an 8GB/256GB storage option has a price tag of CNY 3,999, and the Vivo X100 smartphone which has the same 12GB/256GB storage variant as the base model was revealed to be priced CNY 3,999.

The exact reason for the price difference is unclear, and we’ll probably have to wait until the launch to know what the iQOO 12 device offers more when compared to the other two smartphones.
As of now, we know that the vanilla iQOO 12 smartphone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and will feature a 6.78″ flat OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K screen resolution. It will also have an IP64-rated body and is confirmed to be equipped with a better speaker and a better vibrational motor. From its 3C certification, the smartphone is also confirmed to support 120W fast charging as well.
