iQOO 12 Smartphone Black Color Variant Revealed, Specifications Tipped

The Chinese smartphone maker and the Vivo subsidiary, iQOO, will be unveiling its 12 series devices soon on the 7th of November, next month. Now, ahead of the launch, the image of the vanilla iQOO 12 in Black color and its specs(tipped) have been shared.

iQOO 12 – Black Color Variant and Expected Specifications

The upcoming iQOO 12 smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which will be integrated with the Adreno 750 GPU, and is likely to run on the newly released Android 14 operating system. The device has also been tipped to be coupled with an LPDDR5x RAM and a UFS 4.0 storage. It is pointed out that the device might also be having a 2x large X-axis linear motor too, for haptics.

Coming to the displays, it might feature an OLED display panel with a 6.78″ screen size and a 1.5K screen resolution. The device is also tipped to be equipped with an independent display gaming chip and a refresh rate support of up to 144Hz.

About the cameras, the device is to feature a triple camera unit and the camera module is expected to house a 50MP OmniVision OV50H main camera, 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom capability.

Regarding the battery, the smartphone may be backed by a 5000 mAh battery and will probably support a wired fast charging feature of up to 100W.

The Black color variant of the iQOO 12 smartphone, based on the image shared, will be having a matte textured rear panel with flat side panels in a grey color tone. It is also tipped to have a metal frame. The device will also be having White and Red color variants as well.

The white color variant of the iQOO 12 Pro device can also be seen below, with curved glass back rear panel, along with a much more thinner side panel and the BMW M Motorsport branding.
