iQOO, the Vivo subsidiary and a leading Chinese smartphone maker, will be officially debuting its latest flagship smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor too this month in China and as its launch date nears, the brand has teased few of its gaming performance specs.
Here’s more about it.
iQOO 13 – Revealed Gaming Performance Specs
It was recently confirmed that the iQOO 13 device, along with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, would also be equipped with the brand’s self-developed Q2 chip to offer a better gaming and display performance. Following this, more about the Q2 chip and its specs have been shared by the brand with the new updates.
The exclusive Q2 chip that is present on the iQOO 13 flagship will be offering industry’s only 2K 144FPS super resolution and super-frame concurrency, PC-level 2K texture super-resolution, and native-level 144FPS super frame rate. The performance chip is therefore the perfect solution in meeting the requirements of higher image quality, higher frame rate, and lower power consumption. Compared with the previous generation, the Q2 chip also has a much stronger computing power and integrates more advanced algorithms, overcoming the performance limit of the processor.
To add, in terms of gaming performance, the brand has also shared that 140+ games with super frames and 100+ games with super resolution were tested on the device, revealing that it exceeds any GPU interpolation and independent gaming/display chip of its competitors.
iQOO’s 13 smartphone will have its debut in China on the 30th of October 2024 and its pre-booking went live a few days back. Its Indian launch has already been teased, while the launch in other global markets has been suggested via its SDPPI(Indonesia), EEC(Europe), and SGS(Switzerland) certifications.
