iQOO Neo 8 Pro launch timeframe, new details on specifications emerge in new leak
Several leaks have claimed that the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will be announced in May in China. The rumour mill has also been leaking key details of the iQOO’s upcoming flagship phone for the past few weeks. Now, in a new leak, a Chinese tipster has shared some new details about the smartphone.

According to the tipster, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will be unveiled is expected to launch in mid to late May. The rumoured Neo 8 featuring the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is also expected to launch alongside it.

As per the leak, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro is rumoured to feature a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is said to be a BOE Q9 panel, which is also available on the Vivo X90 series.
It is expected to debut as the first-ever phone powered by the forthcoming Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It is said to come with a whopping 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will come with a massive 5,000mAh battery, which should support 120W fast charging,
The device is rumoured to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX866V sensor. The cameras of the phone is likely to be powered by Vivo’s V1+ or V2 ISP. Lastly, the leak also mentions that the device will have a plastic middle frame.
