iQOO Neo 8 to ship with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, reveals leak
Earlier today, iQOO confirmed that the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will arrive with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. In a new leak, a Chinese tipster has revealed the RAM and storage type that will be available on the iQOO Neo 8.
According to the tipster, the iQOO Neo 8 will be equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It appears to be the highest configuration of the iQOO Neo 8, and it is likely that it could be made available in multiple variants.
The iQOO Neo 8 is said to be powered by the underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro, on the other hand, will feature the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. The performance of the D9200+ is said to be better than that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
It is likely that the rest of the specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 and 8 Pro could be identical. Hence, it is likely that the iQOO Neo 8 will have a 6.78-inch OLED display with support for a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging, and a 50-megapixel triple camera unit on the back.
The iQOO Neo 8 series is set to launch on May 23 in China. Rumours are rife that the iQOO Pad, which will be iQOO’s first-ever tablet, will also go official through the same event.
