iQOO Neo 9 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor launched in India
The Vivo sub-brand iQOO has finally launched the iQOO Neo 9 Pro in the Indian market. iQOO has been teasing this smartphone for over a month, and now it has been released. There has been debate over whether iQOO has finally launched a competitor to the OnePlus 12R. While the OnePlus 12R is priced at Rs 38,999, iQOO has smartly set the starting price at Rs 35,999.

As you’ve read in the headline, this smartphone features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with Adreno 740 GPU. The phone is going to come with Android 14 based FuntouchOS 14 out of the box. iQOO is also offering 3 Android upgrades which means you will get Android 17.
Many of us recall the UFS 4.0 controversy with the OnePlus 12R, but iQOO has equipped the Neo 9 Pro with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5x RAM. You’ll get a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Visionox VM7, 1400nits HBM for full screen, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. iQOO has employed a custom Q1 display chip, and the company claims it has a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

It offers a battery size of 5160mAh with 120W wired charging and 60W of PD charging. The phone doesn’t support NFC but offers 11 5G bands, namely n1/n3/n5/n8/n28A/n28B/n38/n40/n41/n77/n78.

The smartphone is launched in two color options: Fiery Red, weighing 190gms, and Conqueror Black, weighing 196gms. The phone is available in three storage and RAM options: 8GB+128GB for ₹35,999, 8GB+256GB for ₹37,999, and 12GB+256GB for ₹39,999. If you have an HDFC or ICICI bank card, you can further get a ₹2000 discount. The company is offering an 18-month warranty, which is 6 months more than the usual warranty we get. The smartphone is going to go on Sale via Amazon from tomorrow.
