Leakster Mukul Sharma, also known as Stufflistings, predicted that the smartphone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor in the country. Given their accurate track record for leaks in the past, it’s highly likely that the iQOO Z7 will feature the Dimensity 920 SoC.
The MediaTek Dimensity 920 was launched in 2021 as a mid-range 5G chipset. Built on the 6nm fabrication process, it reportedly offers a 9% performance boost over its predecessor, the Dimensity 900. The octa-core chip can clock up to 2.5GHz and uses ARM’s Cortex A78 architecture. It also features LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage, making it one of the fastest mid-range SoCs available. Additionally, the chipset supports Smart Adaptive Displays, hardware-based 4K HDR video capture, up to four cameras, and up to 108MP sensors.
