iQOO Z7 Key Specifications Leaked Before Launch on March 20
Today, iQOO confirmed that it will hold a launch event at 7 pm (local time) on March 20 in China to announce the iQOO Z7 series. Soon after the official announcement, tipster Digital Chat Station took to Weibo to reveal the key specifications of the iQOO Z7.
It is speculated that the iQOO phone with model number V2270A that was spotted in the database of the 3C regulatory last week will debut in the Chinese market as the iQOO Z7. The same device has been recently spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking site with the Snapdragon 782G chipset.
Today’s leak reveals that the iQOO Z7 will come equipped with an LCD panel. The SoC will be coupled with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The company has officially confirmed that the Z7 will offer 120W fast charging. It is equipped with a 64-megapixel dual-camera setup with OIS support on the back. The iQOO Z7 released in China will be different from the Dimensity 920-powered Z7, which is scheduled to launch on March 21 in India.
Shown above is an image of the iQOO Z7, which surfaced last week. As can be seen, the LCD panel has a centred punch-hole. In addition, the image also reveals the presence of a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Reports have revealed that the iQOO Z7x (model number V2272A) will also launch alongside the Z7 on March 20. The device is expected to offer key features, such as an LCD panel, Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 6,000mAh battery, and 80W charging.
