iQOO Z8 confirmed to support 120W fast charging
iQOO Z8 is all set to go official on Aug. 31 in China. Today, the brand released a poster to reveal the battery size and charging capabilities of the device.
iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Z8 will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. With the potential to reach nearly 50 percent charge in just 10 minutes, this smartphone addresses users’ on-the-go needs perfectly. Notably, its promise of over 80 percent battery health after 1460 charging cycles underscores its long-term durability, making the iQOO Z8 a standout choice in battery size and fast charging technology.
The brand has also confirmed recently that the device will be equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chipset. According to the company, the device has recorded an impressive score of 980,832 on AnTuTu benchmarks.
The iQOO Z8 rumours have claimed that the device will ship with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to run on Android 13 OS with a layer of OriginOS 3.0 on top.
The iQOO Z8 is likely to feature a 6.64-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 1.5K resolution. For photography, the device may come equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel dual-camera system.
Apart from the iQOO Z8, the company will also announce the iQOO Z8x on Aug. 31. The Z8x is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging, and a 50-megapixel dual-camera system. The rest of its specs could be identical to the iQOO Z8.
