The iQOO Z series in the Indian market will soon have a new member called the Z9 Lite 5G. Just yesterday, I spotted it on the Google Play Console listing with the Dimensity 800U. This listing seemed odd to me, as I noted there that the chipset was underclocked and didn’t align with the past rumours. It was previously rumoured to be a repackaged version of the Vivo T3 Lite. iQOO has now revealed that the chipset powering it will actually be the Dimensity 6300, the same as the Vivo T3 Lite.
iQOO Z9 Lite Specs Revealed
As per the Amazon microsite, we will see the same Dimensity 6300 SoC with an AnTuTu score of 414K. For those who don’t know, the Vivo T3 Lite also achieved the same score, hinting that the Z9 Lite is merely a rebranding. The listing has also revealed that it was tested with a 6GB + 128GB memory option, so we now know at least one of the configurations it will be available in. Previously, it was tipped to come in two colour options: Brown and Brown.
We will likely see a similar spec sheet to that of the Vivo T3 Lite, including a 6.56-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, IP64 protection against water splashes, and 840 nits of screen brightness (HBM). The only differences I can expect are the colour and memory options.
