itel launches King Signal feature phone in India at ₹1,399 with 62% better connectivity and a 33-day claimed battery life

itel has introduced its new budget feature phone, the King Signal, priced at ₹1,399. Aimed at users in areas with poor mobile coverage, the device offers stronger signal performance, extended battery life, and everyday usability in a sturdy design.
Equipped with silver-plated signal enhancement technology, the King Signal claims to deliver 510% longer call duration and 62% stronger connectivity in weak network zones compared to similar phones in the segment.
Commenting on the launch, Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of itel India, said:
“We recognised that call drops due to bad network quality are a pressing problem faced by a lot of feature phone users in India. The King Signal is an innovative, high-performance feature phone built for those who demand unbeatable signal strength, even in the most remote or low-network areas.”
The phone packs a 1500mAh battery offering up to 33 days of standby time, and includes a Type-C charging port. Built with a Kevlar-textured finish, it can withstand temperatures from -40°C to 70°C, making it suitable for tough conditions.
Other highlights include triple SIM support, anonymous auto-call recording, wireless FM with recording, 32GB expandable memory, and a VGA rear camera. It also supports vibration alerts, torch functionality, and basic multimedia playback.
The King Signal is available in army green, black, and purple red, and comes with a 13-month warranty and a 111-day free replacement guarantee.
