Nokia has launched its most anticipated 5G smartphone device, the Nokia G42 5G, in the Indian market, and the device is to be made available soon for purchase at an exciting launch price.

Nokia G42 5G Launched in India
The latest Nokia G42 5G smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ 5G chipset and is integrated with the Adreno 619 GPU. The device will also have the Android 13 operating system pre-installed in it. Two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates are also promised on the device.
For its display, the smartphone features an IPS LCD display panel with a screen size of 6.56″. The display will also have a screen resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The device also sports a 50MP AI triple camera setup at its rear along with a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera. An 8MP front camera is also offered for selfies.
Regarding the battery backup, it will pack a 5000 mAh battery and will support a 20W wired fast charging feature.
In the Indian market, two colour choices will be made available – So Grey and So Purple. It comes only in one storage option – 6GB/128GB and has been launched at a special launch price of Rs. 12,999.
The sale of the device will start this month itself, on the 15th of September 2023, at 12PM local time, and customers will be able to purchase the latest smartphone on the Amazon shopping website of India.
