Homegrown company Lava recently began teasing a new smartphone on X. It didn’t specify the name of the phone though it somewhat gave a hint that it’s going to be in the Blaze series. Now the company has finally announced the name of this smartphone along with a hint of the design. As per the recent X post by the company, the smartphone will come with the name of Lava Blaze 3 5G smartphone. Its predecessor Lava Blaze 2 5G smartphone was launched last year in November.

It’s important to mention that the teaser video of the smartphone suggests that it has not only deviated from the design of its predecessor but also added a new thing. The smartphone will come with an aura light and dual camera module arranged on one side. The rest of the information about this smartphone remains under wrap. The company should soon come up with the much-awaited information in the coming days.

Specifications of Lava Blaze 2 5G
The Lava Blaze 2 5G smartphone comes with a 6.56-inch wide HD+ LCD 2.5D curved screen that sports up to 90 Hz refresh rate and 1600×720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor paired with Mali G57 MC2 GPU. The Lava Blaze 2 5G packs up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Its memory is expandable up to 1TB with microSD.
The camera section includes a circular camera module with a ring light on the rear that can even work as a notification light. It sports a 50 MP rear camera. There is an 8 MP front camera for selfies. Its inbuilt camera features include modes such as Film, Slow Motion, Timelapse, UHD, GIF, Beauty, HDR, Night, Portrait, AI, Pro, Panorama, Filters, and Intelligent scanning.
The handset runs Android 13 out of the box and is promised to receive Android 14 and two years of quarterly security updates. The device is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. For security, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack that it comes with. Its dimensions are 164.2x76x8.45mm and weighs 203g.
